कुशीनगर में दिल दहला देने वाली वारदात: मां और पत्नी की पत्थर से हत्या, मानसिक जांच के लिए एम्स में भर्ती आरोपी
कुशीनगर जिले के अहिरौली बाजार थाना क्षेत्र के परसा गांव में सोमवार सुबह ऐसी वारदात हुई, जिसने पूरे इलाके को दहला दिया। 30 वर्षीय युवक सिकंदर गुप्ता ने नशे और पारिवारिक तनाव के बीच अपनी ही मां रूना देवी और पत्नी प्रियंका की बेरहमी से हत्या कर दी। इस दोहरे हत्याकांड के बाद उसका व्यवहार इतना असामान्य और अमानवीय था कि ग्रामीण ही नहीं, पुलिसकर्मी भी स्तब्ध रह गए।
घटना सोमवार सुबह लगभग 8 से 9 बजे के बीच की बताई जा रही है। रोज की तरह मां और पत्नी छत पर अलाव के पास बैठी थीं। इसी दौरान नशे की हालत में सिकंदर वहां पहुंचा। पत्नी द्वारा शराब पीने का विरोध किए जाने पर दोनों में कहासुनी हो गई। इसी गुस्से में सिकंदर ने पास पड़ी ईंट/पत्थर का टुकड़ा उठाया और पीछे से पत्नी प्रियंका के सिर पर वार कर दिया। जब मां रूना देवी बहू को बचाने पहुंचीं तो उन पर भी उसी पत्थर से हमला कर दिया गया।
दोनों के अचेत होने के बाद सिकंदर ने उनका सिर बार-बार कुचला, जिससे मौके पर ही दोनों की मौत हो गई। करीब डेढ़ घंटे तक वह छत पर ही मौजूद रहा। इस दौरान किसी को अंदाजा नहीं हुआ कि घर के अंदर इतना भयावह अपराध हो चुका है।
करीब साढ़े नौ बजे छत से सड़क पर मांस के टुकड़े गिरते देख ग्रामीणों को शक हुआ। लोगों ने आवाज लगाई लेकिन भीतर से कोई जवाब नहीं आया। जब कुछ युवक छत पर चढ़ने लगे तो सिकंदर ने उन पर ईंटें फेंकनी शुरू कर दीं। इसके बाद ग्रामीणों ने पुलिस को सूचना दी।
पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और करीब दो घंटे की मशक्कत के बाद उसे काबू में किया गया। उसके दोनों हाथ खून से सने थे और उसका चेहरा पूरी तरह भावशून्य था। पुलिस उसे जब ले जा रही थी तो वह बीच-बीच में थूक रहा था और किसी से आंख नहीं मिला रहा था।
ग्रामीणों का कहना है कि सिकंदर शवों के पास बैठकर असामान्य हरकतें कर रहा था, हालांकि पुलिस ने शवों से मांस खाने की पुष्टि से इनकार किया है।
परिवारिक पृष्ठभूमि भी इस त्रासदी को और गहरा करती है। सिकंदर की शादी चार साल पहले प्रियंका से हुई थी लेकिन कोई संतान नहीं हुई थी। इसे लेकर घर में तनाव रहता था। सिकंदर नशे का आदी था, कोई स्थायी रोजगार नहीं था और घर की जिम्मेदारियों से भी वह भागता था। पिता की पहले ही मृत्यु हो चुकी थी, मां परिवार संभाल रही थीं।
हत्या के बाद आरोपी की बहन की तहरीर पर केस दर्ज कर उसे गिरफ्तार किया गया और कोर्ट में पेश कर न्यायिक हिरासत में भेज दिया गया। बाद में उसके असामान्य व्यवहार को देखते हुए उसे पुलिस अभिरक्षा में एम्स के मानसिक रोग विभाग में भर्ती कराया गया है। डॉक्टरों ने उसे आक्रामक अवस्था में देखकर शांत करने के लिए इंजेक्शन दिया है और उसकी मानसिक स्थिति का परीक्षण किया जा रहा है।
डॉक्टरों का कहना है कि 1-2 दिन की निगरानी के बाद ही उसकी मानसिक स्थिति पर स्पष्ट राय दी जा सकेगी। फिलहाल वह कड़ी सुरक्षा और चिकित्सकीय निगरानी में है।
यह घटना न केवल एक पारिवारिक त्रासदी है, बल्कि नशे, मानसिक असंतुलन और सामाजिक उपेक्षा के खतरनाक मेल का भयावह उदाहरण भी बन गई है।

Horrific Double Murder in Kushinagar: Man Kills Mother and Wife, Sent for Mental Evaluation to AIIMS
A shocking and disturbing incident has shaken Kushinagar district’s Ahirauli Bazaar police station area, where a 30-year-old man brutally killed his own mother and wife on Monday morning in Parsa village.
The accused, identified as Sikandar Gupta, attacked his mother Runa Devi and wife Priyanka with a stone on the rooftop of their house, killing both of them on the spot. His subsequent abnormal and aggressive behavior left villagers and even police officers deeply disturbed.
According to initial reports, the incident took place between 8:00 and 9:30 am. As usual, Runa Devi and Priyanka were sitting near a bonfire on the rooftop to keep warm. Sikandar arrived there in an intoxicated condition. When his wife objected to his drinking habit, an argument broke out between them.
In a fit of rage, Sikandar picked up a stone lying on the rooftop and struck Priyanka on the head from behind. When Runa Devi tried to intervene and save her daughter-in-law, she was also attacked in the same manner. Both women lost consciousness and later died due to repeated blows to their heads.
For nearly one and a half hours after the murders, Sikandar remained on the rooftop. The crime came to light only when villagers noticed pieces of flesh being thrown onto the road from the rooftop, which raised suspicion. When locals tried to climb up, Sikandar threw bricks at them, forcing them to call the police.
The police reached the spot and after nearly two hours of effort, managed to overpower and arrest him. His hands were covered in blood and his face showed no remorse or emotion. Witnesses described his behavior as extremely abnormal, though police have officially denied confirmation of him consuming flesh from the bodies.
Family sources revealed that Sikandar had been under mental and emotional stress for a long time. He had no stable job, was addicted to alcohol, and had frequent disputes at home. The couple had no children even after four years of marriage, which added to family tension. His father had died earlier, leaving the family responsibilities on him.
A case was registered on the complaint of Sikandar’s sister, and he was produced before the court and sent to judicial custody. Due to his aggressive and incoherent behavior, he was later admitted under police guard to the mental health department of AIIMS for psychiatric evaluation.
Doctors have sedated him to control his aggression and are closely monitoring his condition. Medical experts say that a clear assessment of his mental health will be possible only after one to two days of observation.
This tragic incident has exposed a frightening intersection of domestic conflict, substance abuse, and possible mental illness, leaving an entire village in shock and grief.
