प्रयागराज में बुधवार को उस समय हड़कंप मच गया, जब का एक ट्रेनी माइक्रोलाइट एयरक्राफ्ट उड़ान के दौरान दुर्घटनाग्रस्त होकर शहर के बीचों-बीच स्थित एक तालाब में गिर गया। हादसा केपी कॉलेज के पीछे बने तालाब में हुआ, जहां तेज धमाके जैसी आवाज के साथ विमान नीचे आ गिरा और आसपास के इलाकों में अफरा-तफरी मच गई।
प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार विमान ने सामान्य स्थिति में उड़ान भरी थी, लेकिन कुछ ही क्षणों बाद उसका संतुलन बिगड़ गया और वह तेजी से नीचे आता हुआ तालाब में जा गिरा। धमाके की आवाज सुनते ही सैकड़ों लोग मौके पर पहुंच गए और तत्काल पुलिस व प्रशासन को सूचना दी गई। घटना के बाद पूरे क्षेत्र को सुरक्षा घेरे में ले लिया गया।
चश्मदीद पदम सिंह ने बताया कि वे स्कूल परिसर में मौजूद थे, तभी अचानक रॉकेट जैसी तेज आवाज सुनाई दी। मौके पर पहुंचने पर तालाब में लोग फंसे दिखाई दिए, जिसके बाद स्थानीय लोगों ने तालाब में उतरकर तीन लोगों को बाहर निकाला। बाद में पहुंची रेस्क्यू टीम ने मोर्चा संभाला और विमान को तालाब से निकालने की कार्रवाई शुरू की।
वायुसेना की ओर से दी गई प्रारंभिक जानकारी के मुताबिक यह माइक्रोलाइट एयरक्राफ्ट एक रूटीन ट्रेनिंग सॉर्टी पर था। विमान में दो पायलट सवार थे, जिन्हें सुरक्षित बाहर निकाल लिया गया है। दोनों पायलटों को कोई गंभीर चोट नहीं आई है, जिससे राहत की स्थिति बनी हुई है।
सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय प्रशासन, पुलिस और राहत टीमें मौके पर पहुंच गईं। तालाब के चारों ओर बैरिकेडिंग कर दी गई है और विमान को बाहर निकालकर तकनीकी जांच के लिए ले जाने की तैयारी की जा रही है। वायुसेना और प्रशासन की संयुक्त टीम हादसे के कारणों की जांच कर रही है। शुरुआती तौर पर तकनीकी खराबी या संतुलन बिगड़ने की आशंका जताई जा रही है, हालांकि आधिकारिक पुष्टि जांच पूरी होने के बाद ही की जाएगी।

Panic spread in Prayagraj on Wednesday after an Indian Air Force trainee microlight aircraft crashed into a pond located behind KP College in the middle of the city. A loud explosion-like sound was heard at the time of the crash, causing chaos in the surrounding areas.
According to eyewitnesses, the aircraft appeared to be flying normally during takeoff, but shortly afterward it lost balance and descended rapidly before crashing into the pond. Hearing the loud noise, hundreds of local residents rushed to the spot and immediately informed the police and local administration. The entire area was soon cordoned off for security reasons.
Eyewitness Padam Singh said that he was present in the school campus when he heard a rocket-like sound. On reaching the spot, he saw people trapped in the muddy pond. He and others jumped into the water and managed to rescue three people before the arrival of the rescue teams.
According to preliminary information from the , the microlight aircraft was on a routine training sortie. Two pilots were on board, and both were safely rescued. Neither of them suffered serious injuries, which brought relief to the authorities and the Air Force.
