मुंह में कपड़ा ठूंस दिया, ताकि चीख न सके… बेरहम पुलिस ने पीट-पीटकर ली पति की जान

पुलिस घर पर आई, पति को अपने साथ ले गई। मना किया लेकिन कोई नहीं माना। पुलिस चौकी में पति के मुंह में कपड़ा ठूंस दिया और पीट-पीटकर मार डाला। मेरा सब कुछ लुट गया। अब बच्चों का पालन-पोषण कौन करेगा? पुलिसकर्मियों पर हत्या का केस लिखा जाए। पुलिस हिरासत में मारे गए केदार सिंह की पत्नी चंद्रकांता ने रोते हुए यही दर्द बयां किया।

चंद्रकांता लखनऊ एक्सप्रेस-वे पर पहुंचीं, जहां परिजन उन्हें संभालने की कोशिश कर रहे थे। केदार सिंह घर के पास ही आटा चक्की चलाते थे। उनके दो बेटे देवेंद्र और गजेंद्र के अलावा छह बेटियां हैं। परिजनों ने बताया कि दोपहर में पुलिसकर्मी केदार सिंह को पकड़कर ले गए, लेकिन कोई यह नहीं बता रहा था कि उन्हें क्यों ले जाया जा रहा है। पहले उन्हें जीप में बैठाया, फिर एक पुलिसकर्मी उन्हें बाइक पर लेकर चला गया।

पोते ने बताया – चौकी के बाहर पड़े थे बाबा
केदार सिंह के पोते आकाश ने बताया कि वह बैंक से रुपये निकालकर लौट रहा था, तभी उसने अपने बाबा को चौकी के बाहर पड़ा देखा। पुलिसकर्मी उन्हें ऑटो में डालकर ले जा रहे थे। कुछ समय बाद ही उनकी मौत की खबर आ गई।

10 किलोमीटर तक एक्सप्रेस-वे पर लगा जाम

घटना की खबर लगते ही ग्रामीण सबसे पहले कबीस पुलिस चौकी पहुंचे, लेकिन पुलिसकर्मी ताला बंदकर भाग चुके थे। गुस्साए लोगों ने नूरपुर रोड पर जाम लगा दिया और फिर लखनऊ-आगरा एक्सप्रेस-वे पर भी हंगामा शुरू हो गया। सड़क पर ईंट-पत्थर रख दिए गए।

• जाम में 10 किलोमीटर तक वाहनों की लंबी कतार लग गई।
• श्रद्धालु, पर्यटक और एंबुलेंस में फंसे मरीज परेशान होते रहे।
• जिसने वाहन निकालने की कोशिश की, उसके पीछे गुस्साए लोग दौड़ पड़े।
• पुलिसकर्मी भी हालात संभालने में नाकाम रहे।

ग्रामीणों ने नदौता पुलिया पर भी पत्थर रखकर प्रदर्शन किया। महिलाएं सड़क पर बैठ गईं और “पुलिस मुर्दाबाद” के नारे लगाने लगीं। इससे आगरा से लखनऊ की तरफ 7 किलोमीटर और लखनऊ से आगरा की तरफ 3 किलोमीटर तक जाम लग गया।

परिजनों की मांग
परिजनों का कहना था कि पुलिसकर्मियों ने केदार सिंह को पीट-पीटकर मार डाला।

• दोषी पुलिसकर्मियों पर हत्या का केस दर्ज हो।
• मृतक के बेटे को सरकारी नौकरी और मुआवजा दिया जाए।

पुलिस चौकी प्रभारी को बचाकर निकाला गया

गांव की महिलाओं समेत नीतू (मृतक की बेटी) चौकी पर पहुंचीं। आक्रोशित ग्रामीणों ने थाना फतेहाबाद के निरीक्षक डीपी तिवारी को घेर लिया। चौकी प्रभारी सिद्धार्थ कुमार अंदर मौजूद थे और बाहर से ताला लगा हुआ था। पुलिस ने किसी तरह उन्हें चौकी के पीछे के गेट से निकालकर बाइक से दूर भेज दिया।

जब लोगों को इसकी भनक लगी तो कुछ लोगों ने पीछा किया, लेकिन चौकी प्रभारी बचकर निकल गए।

दो घंटे तक चला हंगामा, पुलिस और पीएसी तैनात
गुस्साए लोगों ने करीब दो घंटे तक सड़क जाम रखा। पुलिस ने समझाने की कोशिश की, लेकिन लोग नहीं माने। आखिरकार डीसीपी पूर्वी जोन अतुल शर्मा ने उचित कार्रवाई का आश्वासन दिया, जिसके बाद लोग हटने के लिए तैयार हुए।

👉पूर्वी जोन कमिश्नरेट आगरा की चौकी कबीस थाना डौकी पर केदार सिंह पुत्र राजाराम को मुकदमे से सम्बन्धित पूछताछ के लिए चौकी कबीस पर लाया गया था, जहां पर उसकी संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में उनकी मौत हो गई। इस प्रकरण में पुलिस उपायुक्त ने बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए प्रभारी निरीक्षक थाना डौकी तरूण धीमान को लाइन हाजिर कर दिया है। इसके साथ ही कबीस पुलिस चाैकी प्रभारी सिद्धार्थ चौधरी, दरोगा शिवमंगल और रामसेवक को निलंबित कर दिया गया है। इन सभी पर विभागीय जांच के आदेश दिए गए हैं।

फिलहाल, गांव में पुलिस और पीएसी तैनात कर दी गई है।

Stuffed Cloth in His Mouth So He Couldn’t Scream… Brutal Police Beat Husband to Death

The police came home and took my husband away. I begged them not to, but no one listened. At the police station, they stuffed a cloth into his mouth so he couldn’t scream and then beat him to death. I have lost everything. Who will take care of my children now? The police officers must be charged with murder. These were the heartbreaking words of Chandrakanta, the wife of Kedar Singh, who died in police custody.

Chandrakanta arrived at the Lucknow Expressway, where her family tried to console her. Kedar Singh ran a flour mill near their house. He had two sons, Devendra and Gajendra, and six daughters. According to family members, the police took Kedar Singh in the afternoon without explaining why. Initially, he was put in a jeep, but later, a policeman took him away on a bike.

Grandson Saw Him Lying Outside the Police Station

Kedar Singh’s grandson, Akash, said that he was returning home after withdrawing money from the bank when he saw his grandfather lying outside the police station. The officers then put him in an auto-rickshaw and took him away. Soon after, the family was informed of his death.

10 Kilometers of Traffic Jam on Expressway

As soon as the news spread, villagers rushed to Kabir Police Outpost, but the officers had locked the station and fled. Angry residents then blocked Noorpur Road and later the Lucknow-Agra Expressway. They placed bricks and stones on the road to stop traffic.

• A 10-kilometer-long traffic jam formed.
• Pilgrims, tourists, and even ambulances were stranded.
• When some drivers tried to move, angry villagers ran after them.
• The police were unable to control the situation.

At Nadauta Bridge, five kilometers from the police station, villagers sat on the road, blocking traffic and shouting anti-police slogans. This led to a 7-kilometer jam toward Lucknow and a 3-kilometer jam toward Agra.

Family’s Demands

The victim’s family alleged that police officers brutally beat Kedar Singh to death.

• They demanded that a murder case be filed against the responsible officers.
• They also demanded a government job and compensation for the deceased’s son.

Police Outpost In-Charge Rescued Secretly

Angry villagers, including Kedar Singh’s daughter, Neetu, arrived at the police outpost. As they protested, Fatehabad police station inspector DP Tiwari tried to calm them down. Meanwhile, Kabir Outpost In-Charge Siddharth Kumar was inside the station, which was locked from the outside.

To avoid confrontation, the police secretly escorted him out through the back gate on a motorcycle. When villagers realized this, some chased after him, but he managed to escape.

Protests Lasted Two Hours, Police and PAC Deployed

The protests continued for two hours, with the villagers refusing to clear the road. Finally, DCP (East Zone) Atul Sharma assured them that appropriate action would be taken.

👉Kedar Singh, son of Rajaram, was brought to Kabish police outpost under Dauli police station in the Eastern Zone Commissionerate, Agra, for questioning in connection with a case. However, he died under suspicious circumstances at the outpost.

In response to the incident, the Deputy Commissioner of Police took strict action by transferring Tarun Dhiman, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Dauli police station, to the police lines. Additionally, Kabish outpost in-charge Siddharth Chaudhary, along with sub-inspectors Shivmangal and Ramsevak, have been suspended. A departmental inquiry has been ordered against all of them.
