अस्पताल के बेसमेंट में लिंग परीक्षण करते पकड़ी गई महिला डॉक्टर, पुलिस ने छापा मारकर किया बड़ा खुलासा
शामली शहर के बुढ़ाना रोड स्थित मां सावित्री हॉस्पिटल में स्वास्थ्य विभाग और पुलिस की संयुक्त कार्रवाई से लिंग परीक्षण का एक बड़ा मामला सामने आया है। हरियाणा स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीम ने गुप्त सूचना पर 80 किलोमीटर का सफर तय कर यह छापेमारी की। मौके पर महिला डॉक्टर नीलम शुक्ला को गैरकानूनी रूप से लिंग परीक्षण करते हुए रंगे हाथ गिरफ्तार किया गया।
हरियाणा की स्वास्थ्य विभाग टीम ने पहले एक गर्भवती महिला को फर्जी मरीज बनाकर अस्पताल भेजा। महिला डॉक्टर ने 30,000 रुपये लेकर अल्ट्रासाउंड किया और बताया कि गर्भ में लड़की है। जैसे ही महिला डॉक्टर लिंग परीक्षण पूरा कर रही थीं, टीम ने पुलिस के साथ मिलकर छापा मारा और मौके पर मौजूद महिला डॉक्टर नीलम शुक्ला, एक अन्य महिला और एक युवक को हिरासत में ले लिया।
जांच में पाया गया कि नीलम शुक्ला, जो कि एक बीएएमएस डॉक्टर हैं, बिना रेडियोलॉजिस्ट की अनुमति के अल्ट्रासाउंड सेंटर चला रही थीं। सेंटर में लगे रेडियोलॉजिस्ट के डॉक्यूमेंट्स फर्जी पाए गए, क्योंकि जिस डॉक्टर के नाम से कागजात थे, उनकी तीन महीने पहले मौत हो चुकी थी। यह न केवल कानून का उल्लंघन है बल्कि पीसीपीएनडीटी एक्ट का गंभीर उल्लंघन भी है
छापेमारी के दौरान स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने अल्ट्रासाउंड मशीन को सीज कर दिया और कुछ नगदी भी जब्त की। मामले की गंभीरता को देखते हुए सभी आरोपियों को स्थानीय थाने ले जाया गया है।
छापेमारी के दौरान अधिकारियों ने पाया कि अस्पताल का बेसमेंट लिंग परीक्षण के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा था। यह भी सामने आया कि लेडी डॉक्टर नीलम शुक्ला अक्सर एक युवक के साथ बेसमेंट में समय बिताती थीं। यह गतिविधियां लंबे समय से चल रही थीं, लेकिन गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर कार्रवाई के बाद सच्चाई सामने आई।
पुलिस और स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने इस मामले में पीसीपीएनडीटी एक्ट और अन्य संबंधित धाराओं के तहत मुकदमा दर्ज कर लिया है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग ने अल्ट्रासाउंड मशीन को जब्त कर लिया है और हॉस्पिटल को सील करने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है।
फिलहाल पुलिस और स्वास्थ्य विभाग की टीमें मामले की विस्तृत जांच में जुटी हैं और इस रैकेट से जुड़े अन्य लोगों की तलाश की जा रही है।
